St. James has been the home of the Montreal City Mission since 2004. This 100 year old social institution backed by the United Church of Canada provides free legal information and assistance, rights advocacy and accompaniment to vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals in the domain of refugee and immigration law, as well as other social outreach programs.
